The 4th Friday of the month is rolling around so that means education /program night at the club meeting.

Were covering Camera functions so everyone is encouraged to bring there cameras visitors and members.

Model shoot with Zoya

I met Zoya through Xanka form the maternity shoot I posted previously.

Zoya I alsoÂ from Russia .

We did this shoot in her home in Bradenton because she has two young children to keep up with while he husband was away on business.

I enjoyed getting out of the studio and the lighting challenges that presents .

I tried several lighting setups ffom a single off camera speedlight fired remotely by the Nikon CLS system to a studio strobe setup and some good old window light.

Maternity Session with Moniqua

Well this was about two weeks ago now.

We took a week off to visit friends in Mobile so I had not had a chance to work on these images.

This was one of those sessionsÂ ware I thought it would go great or really badÂ no in between.

Moniqua wanted some implied nude images to go with the belly cast that she was planning to do.

We’ll to say the leastÂ I was a bit nervousÂ and I did not that make my subject any more uncomfortable than I imagined she would be being nude in front of some one she had never met before.

Not to mention in talking to Moniquia before the session I learned she had gained 60 lbs during he pregnancyÂ so posing would be an issue.

Things turned out great and all my wory was for not.

MoniquaÂ was so calm and genuinely happy to be documenting this stage in her life that she calmed me down!

I think we got some excellent images.
